We accept applications from anyone living in Durhan County, North Carolina. However the need must be an emergent situation to be considered for assistance. For more information see our "eligibility requirements" below.
The eligibility requirements to apply for financial assistance with Mosaic Collective are as follows:
1. Must be a current resdient of Durham County.
2. The need must be emergent in nature.
3. Must complete and submit a financial assistance application.
4. May be required to provide documentation of finacial need.
5. Limited to 1 request per household within a 3 month period.
6. Must be willing to engage in follow-up conversations.
Submit a completed online application. The application is confidential, and will only be shared with the Care Ministry Team and pastoral staff.
The Benevolence Ministry offers financial assistance for things such as utilities, home goods, food, clothing, as well as subsidized counseling for families and individuals. Financial disbursements are made by check and are payable to a specific vendor.
The Benevolence Ministry Team may deny assistance to an applicant if the request does not meet the guidelines of the financial assistance, or if there are insufficient financial resources to meet the need.
